Brad Pitt may have pulled out of State of Play which required Universal Pictures to replace him with Russell Crowe (and as a result, I’ve heard that Ed Norton may need to bow out too due to scheduling conflicts and may be replaced by Ben Affleck, the second hottest dad in Hollywood). However, now it seems that Brad is going to sub in for someone in a new film. Terrence Malick is set to start production on a new film, Tree of Life, sometime next Spring. Heath Ledger had been set to star, but Brad is now in negotiations to replace him. If he takes the role, he’ll be joining Sean Penn on set.
Sean Penn is a great actor, I’d love to see Brad and Sean together.

Brad Pitt and Sean Penn are in Matagorda, TX shooting scenes on the beach!! How in the world did they find this place?
BlessBrangelina – Heehee, I can’t help it, I’ve always had a thing for Ben Affleck. :)
I heard him mention that on Charlie Rose. I hope we get to hear wnat it’s about soon.
Sean is a good actor but not one of my fav’s but he’s passionate about his work. He and Brad will have NOLA to talk about.
Not sure about replacing Eddie with Ben though….? **(2nd hottest Dad….Sherry!!? :0)
*Connie,
that’s not USA Today, that’s a hateful rag which takes great pleasure in insulting, misinforming and generally stoking up hateful opinions about Brad & Angelina.
CONGRATZ ANGIE ON GETTING A SAG NOMINATION. US FANS ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU! HOPE YOU WIN! =]
Yes! Congratulations to Angie for A Mighty Heart, Casey Affleck for Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, and Brad for producing both!

hi hope that brad’s people read this:
i think that brad is an awesome actor—who should start giving himself credit for having a vast range–and trust himself…splendid job on aojj—he should be nominated for best actor on alot of the award ballots rt. now—-i don’t know why not? —–also i would like to see brad take on lead actor roles instead of the charactor actor roles—-he definitely has the attributes of steve mcqueen and he should play those type of parts….additionally i would love to see brad and sean together on the big screen in a high-budget, high-profile movie—this would be ultimate—for both brad and his fans—-also i really wanted brad to reunite with ed norton in state of play–high budget—they play well off one another—-but not happening—-russell crowe nice choice, helen mirren, rachel mcadams, robin wright penn, justin bateman, all great—–but someone must be off their rocker if they think that ben affleck should be added to this cast—-ben affleck is not an actor—-his brother casey does a better job than him in this dept. —-he wouldn’t have the chops to keep up with the others…and he is soo wooden…he would drag the film down—-please choose eric bana instead!!!!!!!
found this on usa today. check out 12 months of brad and angelina

It sure would be great to see Brad and Sean Penn in a movie together.
I’m not familiar with that “Tree Of Life”, it sounds like a good one specially if he is working with Sean Penn, he is also one of the best actors around.
Have no news yet about the Jolie-Pitt’s family, except Brad’s pictures in NY?
Miss the whole family.
i can’t wait. :)
Not only would I love to see Brad & Sean together, I’m excited about Terence Malick directing them both. Sean Penn was in Malick’s Thin Red Line – George Clooney, Nick Nolte and many other A-list actors took small/cameo parts just to work with Malick. He doesn’t make movies too often.
I love Malick’s lyrical, poetic visual style and the relationship between man & nature, as well as the emphasis on the characters’ inner life. Some reviews of AOJJ saw a similarity in style with Terence Malick.
Great news! Thanks Sherry…I haven’t posted in a while but I always check on your site for updates and comments since it’s a fan friendly site. It really has been a great week for the JP’s!
