Here’s the video clip of Brad Pitt on Ellen today, coming in from New Orleans.
It was his first time on the show, and it was so great to listen to him talk about New Orleans and Make It Right and to hear him get into the architecture of the houses they’re building in the Lower 9th Ward.
I particularly love when, at the 5-minute mark, Brad completely mis-hears Ellen (for the first time!) and gets all flustered and laughs. There’s also a cute moment where they talk about how to catch George Clooney to get him on the show and Brad gives the secret on how to get George’s attention – I won’t spoil it but it’s *hilarious*!

That was too funny, it was so funny I almost got caught at work laughing out load. I am so happy that she didn’t ask about AJ or the Kids, and Brad was so expecting it. Can’t wait to see what happens with George. Sherry your going to have to keep an eye open for this and see if any of it comes back on Brad.

I love the clip. I hope he will do Ellen again live in the studio. She is always so great with her guest. She makes them so comfortable. If you notice, and I’m sure you do.. She can get them to say just about anything, because of how great she is. I am going to watch at 5:00pm. Just 45 mins. left. But thanks again, the clip was soo funny, and Brad seemed more relaxed and open.

I was able to watch Brad on Ellen’s show today. He looked so handsome and so happy. I love Ellen and I hope that sometime maybe she could interview both Brad and Angie together. I will be watching Larry King tonight. Saw some pictures today of the Jolie-Pitts flying out of NOLA. Wonder where we will see them next. Guess we will just have watch carefully the next few days to see where they turn up. Maybe in Zee’s birthplace, maybe Brad’s parents, maybe LA?

Fan from Vietnam, I smiled when I read your question about the Chippendales. We are all learning so much here at Pittwatch because it is a family that is international. That is why I think we all enjoy it so much because we get ideas of how others think or what their culture is all about. I might see something one way and you would see it a different way. I watched Brad on Larry King last night and also enjoyed it. Brad seemed more relaxed with Larry this year. Of course after Larry interviewed Brad in NOLA Larry and his family made a very large donation.
Anyone have any idea where our family has flown off to?

Sherry, thanks. I have a good laugh now when I know what it means. I missed one letter “p” that was why I could not find it in the dictionary! The link to “chippendales” that you sent me is blocked as our computer at home is on parental control mode. Brad’s suggestion to Ellen is hilarious.
Mary Ann, I agree with you. I am learning so much from all of you and the reason I visit this site so often is not just to get updates about the JPs but mainly to learn from everyone here. Sometimes I came across really interesting or thought provoking points of view from the readers here about culture, love, life and about the world in general. It is a great community to belong to.
