I was able to find a rather nice photo of Brad Pitt attending the Barack Obama rally the other night.
He looks very serious, but also quite calm. Yes, someone was taking his picture, but there were photographers taking a lot of pictures in general. But what I noticed in both this photo and the video I posted, no one is clamoring for his attention. There are no women screaming, “BRAD!” and no one running at him to get an autograph. He was attending a rally where the focus was on something more important than just celebrity status.
It must have been such a great evening for him, to be able to go and support something he believed in without drawing non-stop attention to himself, and then to end it by having his candidate win. All around, a good night for Brad Pitt!

You know, Brad and Barack are supposedly “distant cousins” or something like that…hahaha
I don’t think the Oprah thing was nice for Brad. Seems like he was “on the block” with her and I fault her for putting her friendship with Jen ahead of her interview with Brad. This was a difficult interview for Brad and my heart goes out to him. c’mon Oprah, give the guy his chance and get over it.
I think Oprah is banking the BP’s interview for sweeps and it will probably air again closer to December 25th when the movie comes out but all the shows are on hiatus.
Anyone who has been to an Obama rally can tell you that he has his own star power — it was his night. In fact, he purposely limited how many celebs could come to the rally. Oprah probably suggested he come since he was in town. Hope the JP’s are back for the inauguration!
Kati, I disagree. I think Brad is beginning to look his age, and has so ever since he started having kids. :) Which is very plausible – what with all the sleep deprivation; I myself find I aged a lot after I had children. Also, of course he is getting older. But he seemed to have eternal youth until about 2005/6. He just started ageing, but still looks great!!
I agree with Errol Flynn and especially Robert Taylor. He looks just like those guys did in those old World War II movies. All he needs is the uniform, which we will see in the movie I am sure. Thanks for bringing up those names. I was having serious issues with the other comparison, it was disturbing.
Hello Friends. Long time, no post – just lurking, enjoying all your comments. I think Brad’s look is remniscent of Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, Robert Taylor. Swashbucking .T hat mature kind of fine Dheck them out, and it’ll wipe the Hitler thing right out your minds.
Also, can you imagine Maddox, Pax, Z, and Shiloh at the annual White House Easter Egg hunt? Or Maddox hanging out with Sasha?
I thought Brad looked more like one of the British officers out of the old WW11 movies. Try and remember that Hitlers look was a look of the times not just his alone.
yoco – I can’t be sure, but I would assume that the calendar was laid out first, with Brad’s episode being planned for November 18th. Then they probably had to figure out taping based on everyone’s availability and that’s why they taped it on Wednesday.
I wonder why the Oprah show is waiting until the Nov 17th to air Brad’s interview. Will Smith was interviewed Wed or Thur and they aired it Thursday. Will’s movie comes out Dec 17.
Mary Ann, I’m happy too as I also supported Obama. He has received tremendous support from the international community. God bless him and his family. I was very impressed by his reception speech made at Grant Park. I hope he will live up to his people’s expectations.
I agree with some of you here that he is not at his best in this picture. He does look a bit like Hitler :)
We all get so upset when things are written about Brad and Angie. Well all through the presidental campaign the GOP tried to make it appear that Pres. Elect Obama would not be good for Israel or it people. Now it has been decided that PE Obama’s Chief of Staff will be Rahm Emanuel. I spent alot of time yesterday reading about this man and he has been in politics for a long time, but what I found most interesting is that Rahm Emanuel was a civilian volunteer for the Israel Defense Forces after the first Gulf War. So much for that idea that PE Obama would not be good to Jewish people. Moral being that when you are some one who is in the news all the time there will always be lies. Any way I am happy that Brad was able to make it to the celebration the other night I have remained real quiet through out the election, but I want to say how happy my husband and I are. I pray that this man will make this an easier world to live in. I also pray that he and his family remain safe. Maybe Brad and Angelina will be invited to the festivities on Jan. 20 2009. I will be glued to my TV.

Poor brad seems to resemble Adolf Hitler for this film IB, what with the hair-parting & moustache; what stars have to tolerate 9and their patrtners) for the sake of their movies.
I think brad has strong committments once he’s made up his mind about things.

Actually, Brad knew who the real star of the evening was and behaved well. Some of the other celebrities seem to think the evening was about them, which annoyed me. Brad was there to celebrate the achievement of the new President of the United States, not get interviewed. I am happy that he was able to be there in person and honor his “cousin”, the 44th President of the United States. I think he might have planned it this way as there does not seem to be any other reason to do an interview at that time and day to be aired in two weeks. He could have done it last week. Again, happy he was there.

I just read some comments on other sites (JJ, Splashnews) in which the comments about Brad and Angie are just horrible. This is a site for real fans. I just read on JJ that Brad had dined alone in NYC yesterday. And naturally all the haters said that now he´s split up with Angie! Not true. She sure was at the hotel with the kids having fun with them while daddy Brad had some business dinner. Those two love each other very much and will be together forever. Thank you again, Sherry!
Nice photo of Brad. He looks really great in this one. Although I must say the moustache doesn´t suit him at all. He looks much better without them. Still he looks really sexy for a guy his age. Angie and the children keep him young. Thank you for this website, Sherry! This is for real Brad and Angie fans. I hate the comments on other websites (JJ for example). After taping Oprah in Chicago Brad has been seen eating alone in NY and immediately the haters have started to speculate on their break-up. Doesn´t Brad have all the right to go out alone? That doesn´t mean he has broken up with Angie. They have six children and they both need some alone time from time to time. Angie is still breastfeeding the twins so she has to stay behind. I can´t wait to see new pictures of the whole JP clan together soon. That will hopefully shut the haters´ mouths. Thanks again, Sherry!
I must say that look is not my most fav but at least we know it is not lasting. It is great that he was just another party goer. On another front there is a supposed recount of Oprah and Brad’s interview here
