Maybe it has changed by now, but he did say he would not call Brad his friend, even though he likes him very much and enjoys his company when they work together - but that his real friends were the people that he is in touch with on a regular basis during his normal life, who he hangs out with, and that those people had nothing to do with the movie business. It´s a pity, but maybe things have changed, and maybe they are closer now. In any case, even if they are not best friends, I am sure they really like each other a lot as colleagues!
