Brad Pitt is one of the hottest men in Hollywood so trying to turn him into an utter dork is a bit of a challenge. I have another video clip from the bonus features on the Burn After Reading DVD about how they managed to do it.
I swear, that part near the beginning where he claps his hands is the epitome of DORK. I can’t stop laughing at it.
Enjoy!

“The Curse of The Trophy Wife”

…..”A friend of mine claims that, ‘There can only be one superstar in any relationship. C’mon,’ she insisted, ‘It would be too chaotic to have two bright, beautiful , and strong personalities competing all the time.’
Maybe. But I come from the postmodern school of thought, which is a proponent of Peer Marriage. Peer Marriage is a new trend in the mating game-marrying someone exactly like oneself, a true marriage of equals, if I may. Let’s take one of the most visible celebrity couples in the world: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They are equals in every department, if you ask me. What makes their union work is the fact that they each have the forum to shine individually, without usurping one another’s radiance.
I risk sounding too simplistic but I think that peers who lead their own lives and who each have a healthy sense of self-worth will actually end up relatively happier and will lead fuller lives compared to couples where one falls into the trophy category, i.e. in ascendance over the other whether in the looks, money or power department…..”
happy new year evrybody! i’ve problem with my computer so i can’t post since a few days
does someone have an idea in wich part of the world the jolie-pitt are staying now???
have a nice party evening!
i loved BAR, it’s got this dark humor which makes it really funny not corny.
anyway, thanks Sherry, the video was funny.
Hello, Happy New Year to all fans around the world. I’d like to share this wonderful video from JP fan Butterfruitt . Thanks Sherry.

LOVED Burn after Reading. I love plots that are so intertangled that it only makes sense after you’re forced to pay attention to the characters. The situations were over the top, but that for me, was the charm. BTW, I laughed so long and hard I could not see the screen through my tears! Thank goodness for different types of comedy, because I cannot endure the Sandler types.
When you compare the performances of Mr. Pitt in his last few movies, it becomes very obvious that he chooses very different characters and it is clearly a tribute to his skills that “Chad” has no mannerism or expression in common with the character from Babel. I was lured by Pitt, but the characters kept my interest
I’ve seen BAR, wow what can I say. Just simply put Brad Pitt was BRILLIANT. He was so funny and the ensemble cast with George Clooney, was excellent.
It’s definitely off beat, and strange but I loved it. The Cohen Brothers are so bizarre with their conceptually art in movie making, they’re the best in this particle genre.
Brad made me laugh out loud in this theater but heck so did everyone else. Hats off to all involved, too much fun! With the world and the economy in the terrible state it’s in, it felt good just to laugh and escape it all.
Kudos to all!
ducks—my daughter and I watched it and we were disappointed with a “certain” part. I won’t say in case people haven’t seen it. We looked at each other and said “Well, is that how it ends?” As is my way, I guess, I re watched it and loved it. It’s true what you say about the Tarantino & the Cohen brothers. You do or you don’t.
I remember the first time I watched Moulin Rouge. I hated it. Then gave it another try and watched and fell in love with the characters.
I want to add my “new year wishes” to everyone and also to Sherry for putting up everything about the Jolie-Pitt’s. I remember when she first came aboard. No offense to Christina but Sherry is the best!! We are all lucky to have her. I mean that too.

Happy 2009 Pittwatch!
I just saw Burn After Reading. I only laughed out loud once, but it is a different kind of wry humor that the Cohen brothers create. I enjoyed it, and I have to say that I forgot that I was watching Brad Pitt, which I think attests to his acting ability. Ducks, the characters are supposed to be over the top. The movie is making a statement about our government and our society and how over the top it has all gotten.
I think I adore you, Sherry. I don’t like Tarantino either so I stand with your mom. Happy New Year to you and your family and thanks so much for taking the time to work this blog.
ducks – I think it’s standard fare for Coen brothers movies. People tend to either love or hate their movies. It’s a lot like Tarantino. I love Tarantino so much that if I was an actress I’d pay HIM to let me star in one of his movies, but some people can’t stand anything he does (like my mom).
Mia Farrow’s oldest daughter died Christmas. She was 35 and of course she’s her ‘adopted ‘ daughter. I don’t know how to link I read it at HUFF Post by way of NY Daily News.
Sherry, I saw BAR, I thought it was terrible. Perhaps my age funnybone is showing. I didn’t get it, George and Brad were over the top, John Malkivetch and Tilda Swinden parts were overplayed also. For me it was not funny. I didn’t get No Country for Old Men either. My son saw Marley and Me and said it was an hour or so of seeing two people chasing a dog.Do shows no longer have plots and characters move in that story? I only had three days to see Benjamin B. where I live and of course was ill and it was replaced with the other dog picture about the SainT Bernard.I was really bummed out. My friends who did see CCBB absolutely adored it. We are talking ladies in their 60′s,70′s and 80′s.All of this is really a rant because I didn’t get to see CCBB. Happy New Year,Pittwatches, lets all hope for better things from the world .
Sherry, thanks again for having a wonderful site and working so hard for all of us.
To all Pittwatcher’s have a Happy New Year. Hopefully things will improve through out the world in 2009. Wonder where the Jolie-Pitts are, where ever they are it is nice that they have found some private time.
