This may only be useful for Canadians since I’m not sure if it will be picked up by any US networks or not.
Canadian contractor Mike Holmes has been on television for quite some time with his household show “Holmes on Homes”. Aside from being an excellent contractor and a bit of a Canadian icon, he’s also very passionate about Brad Pitt’s Make It Right campaign. He has done a great deal to help in the rebuilding of post-Katrina New Orleans. His own website even forwards to the Canadian branch of Make It Right.
Tonight on the Global network, the first episode of a two-part special will air, where Mike Holmes will connect with Brad Pitt to discuss the ongoing work in NOLA. The second part will air tomorrow.
No word yet on when the segment with Brad was filmed.

Oh, this is GREAT! I wondered if Mike Holmes’ project was affiliated with Brad’s. Great to know that it is. Mike does some great work too.

i met mike holmes when i volunteered at Make it Right in NE….funny, i was taking his pic and he made sure it was for personal use only….didn’t see brad tho…he was out of the country filming….but it’s a great time working there and NE is awesome… i highly recommend it!!

Couldn’t find it on TLC here in my city. Read somewhere it is going to be on HGTV on Thursday.

I also heard that Holmes was to have 4 consecutive shows on HGTV, but it sounded like these were in addition to the show on the Global Network, which is not part of our cable package. I was doubtful that Brad would be on the HGTV shows.

Saw the show last night on Global and Brad was on it. He was so laid back and joking with Mike. The show is being shown in two parts on Global and if you miss it on global it is being shown in 6 parts on hgtv. Also if you go to hgtv.ca they have a video section where a week after the show was shown you can watch it on the site. Also I here that AJ will also be on the show at the final house party.

Can’t wait to see these shows, please keep us informed. All the good the Jolie-Pitts do, so much respect from their peers, I just don’t understand all the bad press they receive. I am so happy that I stumbled across Pittwatch two years ago. Other wise I would be like all these others who believe every headline they see while standing in line in the super market.

Sherry, I can’t comment on the latest post (the one about Brad at the JFK airport). When I click on the comments link (which currently reads: “0 Comments”, and I had to click it because, for some reason, you didn’t give that post a title, or if you did, it isn’t showing up.), it takes me to a page that says, “No posts match your criteria). :(
