It turns out that Brad Pitt is in New Orleans for a very good cause. Brad is busy overlooking Global Green’s sustainable low-income housing project. A special celebration is planned for the completion of the project, so Brad stopped by to check it all out.
New Orleans was hit hard by Katrina two years ago but this neighborhood in particular, the Lower Ninth Ward, was completely devastated by the hurricane and has needed total rebuilding from the ground up.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Brad will do an exclusive interview with Ann Curry for The Today Show, where he will discuss his cause regarding bringing homes to help rebuild New Orleans that are both environmentally friendly and energy efficient.

Hope the rest of the project progresses well. So happy for those people who would have the opportunity to buy these cheaper and environmentally friendly homes. Giving them the opportunity to return home if so wish.
I wish he’d wear a proper shirt. That’s not even a real tee. That’s an undershirt.
Madd, I read in daily inquirer that the day after Brad left Chicago is when Wanted wrapped up and the Angie and kids left Chicago.

I really like that he choose this project. It’s nice to see him contributing to something he has a real interest in (architecture and environment) and at the same time it offers practical solutions for people in need.
