Brandon Barash Named Celebrity Ambassador For Muscular Dystrophy Association

Brandon Barash, better known as the man strong enough to be Paris Gellar’s boyfriend Jamie on Gilmore Girls was recently honored for his work with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) in New York. The actor, who’s currently on General Hospital, held a dinner for journalists in New York and introduced himself as the new celebrity ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. In order to raise money for the MDA, Brandon plans on selling his photography and donating the proceeds, as well as selling a book he’s already published. Brandon has already been donating funds to the charity and participated in its famous Jerry Lewis telethon earlier this year.In less serious news, Brandon was featured in the following Christmas video of ABC soap stars singing “Jingle Bell Rock.” It also features another Gilmore Girls alum: Lexi Ainsworth, who played “Tillie” in “Just Like Gwen and Gavin” and “Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out.” Lexi is also on General Hospital, where she portrays the character of Kristina Davis Corinthos.
