Actually Anon here is bit more info on that 10 minutes.

- Tom Cruise. I wasn’t sure how it would work out with him in the film and I figured he’d just be in one scene. He’s actually in quite a few and it is a legitimate supporting role.

Just ten minutes!!! With all the hooplah he is getting, one would think there would be more than 10 minutes. I guess the pther actors were that lousy that only one actor and 10 minutes stood out.

Any well known actor/actress in a fat suit would be hiliarious!!

I am looking forward to this movie a lot. I haven’t seen a review saying Tom is not super good. Exciting stuff. Makes me wonder how it is going to be spun by the likes of Friedman.

To see Cruise in a role like this was encouraging. And the decision to KEEP him coming back throughout the entire movie was a great choice.”

I don’t know why “they” thought it is “encouraging” to see Tom in a role that has him “spewing the word **** every chance he can conceivably get.”
I’m trying to make sense of that.

Ah Tyler…………The great reviews aren’t just for Tom’s cameo, it’s for the movie as a whole.
Having said that though, all the reviews of the movie thus far have said TC’s role in it is outright hilarious.

You’re mistaken when you say the film is drawing attention to TC’s role, they aren’t. TC is in none of the film’s pr. The reviews of his role are coming from screenings of the movie.

If a 10 minute cameo of a man in a fat suit, swearing?, makes or breaks a movie, then it wasn’t much of a movie to begin with. Maybe it was time for Ben Stiller to go back to the drawing board. The “fans” here are getting a little too excited in my opinion. Yes, the film’s PR machine is in full force to draw attention to it, but wishing this’ll revive Tom’s career is serious wishing. Not gonna happen.
