I can not thank reader Passerby enough for bringing my attention to this video. It’s a parody song written by VenetianPrincess called “Adopt Me Too”. She made an entire video out of her song and it’s absolutely hilarious. It’s a plea for Brad and Angelina to please adopt her too.
On top of being funny, her voice isn’t bad at all, the video editing is great quality, and it’s uncanny how much she actually resembles Angelina Jolie (she’s a very beautiful girl).
Please note that the song is meant in good humor, it’s not meant to make fun of Brad and Angelina. In her own description of the song she said this:
PLEASE NOTE: I am a big fan of Brad and Angelina, and have a profound respect for their charity efforts. Also, it is solely a parody of the two celebrities, and in no way makes fun of any ethnic cultures. My intention was to theme this video with the cheerful sounds and images of Africa, in a positive, uplifting way.

didn’t get some bits..and that thing about Shiloh “being a blob” some people and the media was perceiving it as a negative comment when really i reckon Ange was being funny! I guess they’ll be used to being misunderstood by now!
She said she misprounounced the name on purpose at it was a joke branching off from how John Voight misprounounced Zahara’s name.

I get really annoyed with the blob thing. Angie was describing what a newborn was like and the interviewer said blob and angie agrees. Gwen stefani straight out called kingston and shiloh two little blobs and nothing is said. This double standard that the press and public put on angie is unfair. Never have i seen a woman criticized and under such scrutiny for daring to be different then the woman society seems to think you should be. Woman like angelina should be admired for paving the way of being original,confident and living life on your own terms despite other’s opinions. Sorry for my rant but i’m so sick of the negativity put on this woman that i admire greatly.
I was personally offended by the painted face and constant references to the African images. The constant references John Volt calling Zahara the wrong name Shakira, and mispronouncing SHiloh’s name was incredibly stupid. I guess people will do anything for publicity. At the end it asked to subscribe to her youtube.
People can be SO SHALLOW. I don’t commend the Jolie-Pitts for opening up their hearts and home to children. Many people are blessed with children (by way of adop & or bio). Children are a gift no matter how they come into the family. I commend them for putting the needs of their kids first. Anyone can have a child who is physically or legally capable. There is nothing required but conception or paperwork. But few people put their kids first. We rarely see successful famous people putting their kids first. Most successful people put more time and care into their careers and companies than they do their own kids.
People don’t realize that they owe their kids the moment they decide to be their mommy or daddy. Angie seems to understand that first hand since her own father was a selfish person who should never of planted a seed. It takes so little to have kids, but so much to put them before your own needs. Many people put their careers, relationships and lifestyles before their kids. Then they manage their kids around their careers, relationships and lifestyles. I was looking at craigslist job board, and I can not beleive the number of people looking for baby sitters so they can date. I can not believe how parents don’t even consult their kids when they decide to date. I think that parents should ask their kids if they mind them dating. If the kids have a problem then the parent should sneak around so the kid dosn’t know:-). I don’t think the parents should bring relationships into the home without the consent of the their kids. That’s the thing I absolutely love about the Jolie-Pitts, they don’t care about what anyone else thinks but their kids. Angie once said you earn your kids love and respect. I think it’s true. She let Maddox choose his father and his sister. He seems so developed and stable. I watch the Bravo show Orange county housewives and all the kids whose mother’s have no concern for the kid’s have kids that are soooo jacked up. Lauri makes personal decisions without concern for her kids only what makes her happy, and her son is the way Angelina used to be; on drugs and living destructivly. The one mother, Vicki, who is crazy but focuses on her kids seems to have stable kids.
Anway said all that to say, I love the Jolie-Pitts but hated that parity video. I love Brad Pitt looking in the mirror because he is the grooviest dad on the planet.
Suzi I agree with you. I too am confused with the negative press they get. I know that people who are JA fans were upset that Brad and she split. But people breakup every day. I think JA would rather have a man who wanted to be with her then one who realized that it was not working out, and left. I really like them. I would hope that after 3 years people would have gotten over it and moved on. Well to other things. Did anyone hear about the rumor about invetro with Brad and Angie. I don’t believe it, but here again are the rumors. Also I wonder if Angie is communicating with her Dad. I hope so. It would be great for her to have a relationship with her only remaining parent, and for the kids to know their Granddad. Sorry for the long message.
Wow. I guess I didn’t see it the same way some of you did. I didn’t think she was being really insulting to them, to me it was similar to the skits they do on shows like Saturday Night Live and Mad TV where they take things that are heavy in the media (hence, the blob comment) and they make fun of the situation without really intending harm towards anyone.
Ah well, different humor for different people, I guess!
It is satire, it’s just comedy. I have spoken to her before and she is a big fan of both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, so I know for a fact that she didn’t mean it as an insult. You just need to take it with a grain of salt, again it is satire.
I read somewhere on the comments of the video that she pronounce shiloh’s name wrong because that was how Jon Voight pronounced it.

Have a sense of humor. It was a joke. I think Angelina and Brad Pitt are very charitable, beautiful people, but I’m sure they would laugh at it too…as it’s a JOKE.
PS – Alecia – it’s parody, not parity. Before you leave a monologue knocking a satiritcal video, I’d try to google the defintions between a funny imitation and something that means being “equal” to something. Just a thought.

You sound like Sarah Silverman. Some parodies are offensive. If she had of said that Shiloh looked like tweety bird, I am sure you wouldn’t thing that was so funny, would you?? There would have been 20 emails on here expressing outrage. But painting her face like an African, and asking to be adopted is all in fun, right??? Whatever. There are somethings you don’t joke about; people’s kids, disabled or handicapped people, oppressed people, and fat people. Because it’s not funny. I am NOT amused.
A few summers ago, I went to a pimp & ho party and there were a couple guys with their faces painted brown. I was discusted, these people thought because it was all in fun that it was no big deal. Well it was. It just proves that idiots will do anything for attention. You telling me this girl has so little talent that this all she could come up with. Really. She deserves to be a nobody.
A remixed version of this video is #8 most viewed today on YouTube, and #1 top favorited comedy!! I guess everyone else thinks its funny too!
