People.com is reporting today, that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo split on Thursday, just one day before Jessica’s 29th birthday.
This is shocking considering that Romo had just recently told People.com that his relationship with Simpson was going strong.
Sources close to the couple are saying that they were growing apart due to busy and conflicting work schedules. Jessica begins filming her new reality show later this month and the football season begins very soon for Romo.
It is being reported that Romo ended it and although Simpson is said to be heartbroken, friends close to her say she is doing well. Jessica’s outlook remained optimistic on Saturday as she tweeted, “Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.”
And just a couple of hours later, she wrote again, “Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please lord give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace.”
Jessica is one tough cookie. Boys will come and go, so the most important thing is to always remain true to yourself.
It looks to me like she is on the right track.
