Bringing Back Brussel Sprouts for Fall

Apparently, brussel sprouts are the “it” vegetable this fall in restaurants so, this segment on the Today show was aimed at helping people learn to make them at home.  One method was carmelizing them with shallots, bacon and sherry vinegar and it actually looked pretty good (especially after she added the butter).  Makes you wonder, though, if people will even know if those are brussel sprouts under all of that fat!  Watch the segment here:

    Watched the today show on Nov 27 and saw a clip on a great brussel sprout easy recipe, but could not find the actual recipe (as they promised) but I think I discovered even something better watching the video with Al and Sara for brussel sprouts – which I am going to try for Thanksgiving dinner.. My sister turned me on to this when I had them at her house, so I am a new fan. Sara has a great amount of energy and like her personality. I will let you know how my family likes it !
