Britney called off today all negotiations that have been taking place with the Rolling Stone over a cover photoshoot after the magazine would not guarantee her that the shoot will be used for an actual cover and not for one of its affiliated magazines (like US Weekly).
Spears was close to signing a contract with editor and publisher Jann Wenner, to pose for the cover, but called off talks when the Wenner Media boss refused to promise her it would actually land on Rolling Stone instead of Us Weekly, said the insider.
“It was going to be a good platform for her music to be taken seriously because it had been so long. But she refused to get screwed by Wenner,” said our source. “They kept negotiating, and it got nasty.” Spears has contacted Blender magazine, and a deal is being worked out for a cover there, said the source. A rep for Rolling Stone said they were “exploring a cover” but never had a discussion about any kind of contract. (PAGE SIX)
Personally, I think this is a great decision on Brits side as a failure to guarantee pretty much says she wouldn’t get the cover… Blender goes just as good, if not better than US. Looking forward to a great shoot!

Britney Spears should do the Cover of Carrie Leigh’s Nude Magazine. If fine art photographer Carrie Leigh shot Britney for the cover of her magazine I am sure Britney would look great.
