Britney Conservatorship Update

Britney wants out now and she is willing to do whatever it takes to have her freedom back. If rumors are correct, court may sit down again to re-consider Britney’s conservatorship as soon as tomorrow morning… Here’s a quick update:

Sunday Night: Britney calls for help to a new attorney, Jon Eardley, asking that he helps her to “get her life back.” According to X17, Britney said:

I want my life back; I want to be able to drive my car; I want to be able to live in my house by myself. I want to say who is going to be my security guard. I want to see who I want to see at any time and make it happen.

Monday Morning: Britney’s new attorney tells PEOPLE that Britney has been “deprived of her Constitutional rights” and that she is seeking a “return to normalcy.” He filed a complaint to the U.S. District Court on behalf of Britney. “I see the case as a civil rights case,” he said. “These are issues of confinement. Very serious confinement. Not allowed to contact her friends. Not allowed to use the phone. Not allowed to come and go as you please. Bodyguards controlling you and so forth.”

So, How did she Find Him?

Eardley said that Britney sought him out: “She reached out by phone. I have no idea how [she got my number].”

When asked if Britney’s behavior posed a danger to herself and others, Eardley answered, “I don’t,” adding that he sees far worse cases on the streets.

“In downtown Los Angeles I’m surrounded by people talking to themselves and having fits on the street,” says Eardley. “They are out in public. They are not being institutionalized.”
