Earlier this week Britney sent an apology letter to the X17 guys for her famous umbrella incident back in February, right before she hit rehab. The same day she posted this letter on her site. In her post Britney speaks about getting carried away while preparing for a role in a movie (huh?), and that unfortunately she did not get the role (huh-again?!?). Anyways, here’s the screencap (click-through for a bigger version) and below is the full text.
I apologize to the pap for a stunt that was done 4 months ago regarding an umbrella. I was preparing my character for a role in a movie where the husband never plays his part so they switch places accidentally. I take all my roles very seriously and got a little carried away. Unfortunately I didn’t get the part.
