Britney Spears 2008 VMA Opening Act

britney-spears-aug08_nc As everyone was anticipating, Britney Spears opened the 2008 VMA without performing per se. So what did Britney Spears actually do to open the show? Well, it started with her in the dressing room putting on her make-up. Then Jonah Hill appeared. He was supposed to help her relax. He told her to close her eyes. And as soon as she did, he tried to kiss her. Britney opened her eyes right away. Coz you know, Britney wasn’t about to make out with Jonah. And they did the usual slapstick dialogue. Jonah telling Britney she’s the one obsessed with him, that they’ve already kissed and he pretty much broke up with her. In the end, surprise surprise, Britney told him it’s not a good idea. Jonah said, well just to let you know I broke up with you. Something like that.

2nd part of the act, a PA knocked on her dressing room. Britney Spears was clad in silver foil dress with fringe hem. OH My Gosh she was Smokin’ HOT.

She walked towards the stage, people were clapping. Britney then read the cue cards introducing the Anniversary of VMA.

The End….

*Once the video starts circulating, I’ll post it here.
