Britney Spears and Jason Trawick hit the town back in L.A.

There have been constant rumors springing up that Britney Spears proposed to boyfriend Jason Trawick and that he not only said no, but he bolted out of Australia as fast as he could. As usual, it was all a big lie; People.com has reported that there was no proposal and the couple is happy together but not engaged at this time. The only reason that Jason left Australia before Britney is because he had already spent more time there with her than he had originally planned and he needed to get back home.

Anyway, despite the Internet rumblings that the two are on the “outs” now, OK magazine has some great photos of Britney and Jason enjoying a date night in West Hollywood as they headed to Chateau Marmont. You can check them out over here.
