Britney Spears and the boys get out of town

For the first time since losing custody of her children, Britney Spears was allowed to leave the state with her boys, Sean and Jayden. On Friday, the singer took the pair with her to Kentwood, Louisiana to visit with her family. All the arrangements were settled with ex-husband Kevin Federline and their lawyers.

The fact that there was no problem with her taking her kids out of state with her is such a great sign of her progress over the past year, not to mention what the future holds for her relationship with the boys.

Currently, the custody arrangement allows Britney to have two visits plus one overnight visit with Sean and Jayden per week. However, an overnight visit in Louisiana is a huge step forward.

Britney was also accompanied by her father.
