Heads’ up Aussie Britney Spears fans! According to TMZ, Britney’s conservatorship headed to the courts – again, racking up more legal fees – to see about the possibility of taking the Circus tour to Australia!
They’re also hoping to expand the tour to some parts of Europe, although there is nothing official as to which countries would be included. Right now, as things stand, Circus has been circulating through the U.S. and Canada, with a few future dates in London. I guess this means that Britney’s concert is doing extremely well, otherwise they wouldn’t bother.
No decision was reached at this time, but they are due to return to court for more discussion on April 14th, so I’ll let you know!
In other legal matters, TMZ also reports that an Atlanta nightclub is suing a talent agency for promising to bring Britney to the club after her Atlanta show in March, but they never showed. The alleged agency folks charged the club over $15,000 to set the night up, but apparently they aren’t even affiliated with Britney at all and were never able to arrange any bookings in the first place. The agency is being sued for a hundred grand by the club.
That’s nuts! Didn’t they check into this so-called agency first? I know I wouldn’t just hand over $15K to a couple of people who SAY that they can get Britney Spears to the club, you know? Jeez.
