Britney Spears must be feeling great right about now. Despite all her troubles in the past, she’s still rocking the pop charts. As of right now, Circus is holding strong at the number one spot on the music charts.
On top of that, it has sold over 500,000 copies in the first week of sales, which is almost twice as many copies as Blackout did within the same time frame.
Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph said:
“At the end of the day, I think she is America’s pop princess, and the world’s pop princess, and this just reconfirms it to everyone who doubted it. Professionally, she’s feeling great. It’s great for her to hear that she’s got a No. 1 album again.”
Britney compared Circus and Blackout, saying that her new album is lighter with more pop flavor than the previous album did, so it appeals to a larger audience.

I love Britney. I love her Circus Video. I will certainly buy the CD. I hope she sells record numbers so that her critics will have to eat crow!
