It looks like Britney Spears won’t be having a summer vacation this year (which is okay since she already went to Costa Rica!). She’s far too busy for relaxing. Aside from trying to regain more custody of her kids, Britney is working on her new album. Her manager, Larry Rudolph made the announcement yesterday via Jive Records, explaining that the singer is going to spend her summer in the studio.
He also mentioned that although there’s no official release date at this time, that she’s been doing a great job and is working with some excellent producers and songwriters.
This is more serious that the time Britney spent in studios this past spring. Her manager referred to that time as strictly “recreational” but that now it’s down to hard work. He said that over the spring, she fooled around a lot, giggling and not accomplishing much of anything but that she hit that point where she was ready to buckle down. At that time, he said:
“She’ll likely wake up one day and decide she wants to do more than that. Whether that is a day from now, a month from now or a year from now or five years from now, I have no idea.”
It looks like that day has come. It would be great if they’re able to get the album out by Christmas! I can’t wait to hear her new stuff, what do you think?

Hi Sherry ! I hope that u are very well as we miss u very much. Britney ! dont be in a hurry to get your new album out doing something ordinary , repeated, traditionally planned, dull,against ..on purpose, self-characterized and so on……..but you must be to the point this time . Britney ! This time is a matter of life or death . I think that u are able to make the music industry come true to life again if u did so heartily for both your eyes and noes.. Ok Sherry I love u all. I will send u some other new and distinguished songs for Britney not to be in a hurry to release hers until she …….!
