Britney Spears speaks out about Michael Jackson

As I posted the other day, Britney Spears had a chance to perform with Michael Jackson several years ago. In light of his passing, she made this statement to Larry King:

“I was so excited to see his show in London. We were going to be on tour
in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I’m devastated he’s gone!”

It’s still such a shock for so many of us but I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for those who actually got a chance to know him personally.

In related news, some idiots are posting around the internet, making up phony celebrity deaths. According to a few posts I’ve seen on Twitter, some people are trying to state that Britney Spears has also passed away. The original posts in question have been removed, but please – if you hear this rumor don’t be alarmed as it’s completely untrue!
