Britney Spears VMA Performance [screencaps]

I’m sooooooooooooooo disappointed and upset. I was really rooting for her!! It was terrible – she was so self conscious she hardly moved. Sooooo sad.

Britney’s performance was pitiful to put it gently! She’s a “has been” with her apparent lack of talent to do something as simple as lip sync; not to mention that she’s forgotten how to dance probably due to all the drugs and alcohol that’s been in her system lately. Go home and take care of your boy’s, Britney…ooops she’s not good at that either!

I’m sorry…it sucked. I was really rooting for her. I used to be a fan and I feel bad for her. I was hoping this performance would turn things around for her, but I think it was just another nail in the coffin of her demise. It was just awful. I almost turned it off. I couldn’t stand to watch it.

Should have been singing -Gimme gimme HELP!!!! Hair and makeup,(horrendous) you could see where the extensions were stuck on, grease all over the top of her head, blue eye contacts, very cutting edge, Not!! Her outfit looked cheap, and I’m sure it cost her a fortune. She was out of step, out of lip-synch, did not look as if she was sure of herself, and the whole routine was definitely not shocking. What was shocking was how incredibly uninspired and opposite of Chris Brown!
Britney needs to go to rehab, go back to rehearsal with her dance routines, stop clubbing, stop shopping, do something good for herself and her kids. Where is her family to help her? I am a nurse and am not even a professional dancer and I could see that she was nervous, actually felt bad for her–did she have to do this for MTV? becuase some heads should roll, she was definitely not ready–who approved of this anyway! Sarah Silverman bombed also by picking on her, picking on the poor kids, she was so not funny, very mean spirited in my humble opinion.

Check other websites… One theory is that Britney Spears overheard Sarah Silverman Rehearsing and dissing her kids, and almost backed out… Take into consideration the pressure already on her, and the fact that she hasn’t been having the best few months… I would definitely be nervous too, I’m not at all saying it was a great performance, after all, I would have rather heard her a little off key instead of hearing the same track that was on the internet the past few weeks… But “baby- steps” she can still pull this off is she does the necessary damage control with the press and explains for herself what really happened
