Britney’s ex, Adnan Ghalib, arrested for assault!

Britney Spears may have been secretly phoning ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, but he may be a bit too busy to take any of her clandestine calls for the next little while. He has just surrendered to assault charges after he reportedly attempted to run over a court employee who was trying to serve restraining order papers.

Adnan has pleaded innocent to the charges and was released on a bail of $110,000. Officially, he is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon (his vehicle), hit-and-run, and battery. He could face up to seven years in jail if he’s found guilty by a jury.

The alleged assault occurred on February 11th when the restraining order by Jamie Spears was delivered to Adnan’s apartment.
