This week on Brooke Knows Best our heroine decides to help less fortunate high school girls find dresses for their proms. It is all part of a charity called “Becca’s Closet”. So Brooke has talked to several stores and dressmakers and finds a bunch of gowns to donate to the cause.
So she, along with Glenn and Ashley head to help these girls find a dress to wear. The cause is actually a good one, and she should feel proud of herself for helping out girls in need.

Not only does Brooke help find dresses for underprivileged girls, but she is part of a dating contest connected to the charity. One lucky boy will get to take Brooke to his prom as his date. Brooke is actually pretty excited about the affair since she missed her own prom.

The day of the prom arrives and Brooke is really bummed out. It turns out that this whole episode is occurring around the time that her brother Nick is sentenced to eight months in jail. She gets really upset about it, but luckily she has the support of her loyal roommates and starts to cheer up.

Finally, Brooke’s date comes to get her and they are forced to embarrassingly pose for pictures and a video camera operated by Ashley and Glenn. Then they hit the road in a big limo.

First stop; Eddie (the date) takes Brooke by his house to meet his entire family. It looks like he called every relative in the country to make it down.

Brooke sits down at a piano in Eddy’s house and serenades him. His family just eats it up.

Once they get to the prom, Brooke is ready to party and she and Eddie hit the dance floor. I guess dancing has changed since my prom days because Eddie was dancing like a Chippendale’s dancer.

Eddie and his friend have a bet that he can kiss Brooke before the night is over, so he is coming on way too strong. At this point Brooke is feeling a combination of terror and disgust, but she’s too nice to say anything.
Finally, it’s time to go home and as Eddie says goodbye to Brooke he goes in for the kiss. This will be a night that he won’t soon forget but that Brooke is pretty much wishing she could.

Hopefully this moment doesn’t turn Brooke off of doing charitable work!
I thought that it was real cute you going to prom with that kid, after all it was for charity, right….

i was wondering, does anyone know what song brooke sings in this episode when she sings to her date?
i really liked it, it was super catchy and i can’t find it anywhere.
