Do you know how crazy it’s been to be offline for two days and have no television and not know who was eliminated from American Idol this week? Ugh! I missed you guys and thanks for the notes wishing me well on my move. I will be back to posting normally on Monday.
In the meantime, I was not at all surprised that Brooke White was eliminated. I think she’s original and I think she has a real future but I think there are better singers in the competition right now. I hate to say it but I think it’s Jason Castro’s turn next. What do you think? Who would be in your top 3?

I think that Jason Castro IS next to go, and I think Brooke should have gone before Carly. Carly has more talent. And Jason can only sing slow, boring songs!
I agree Jason and Brooke should both have left before Carly ! She is a way better singer !
Having the been lucky enough to get Brooke’s first album quite awhile ago it is a joy to listen to. Watching Carly Simon call on on the early tv show I take the words from Carly Simon (someone who heers talent ) as high praise. She felt Brooke did “Vain” better than (she) Carly ever did. Booke is the real deal. I hope to hear another album SOON Better singers maybe but that lovley rasp and intimate inflection. Others were louder (not better) Ms. White is an artist with style that is hers alone. One note and you know that is Brooke White…
I haven’t a clue as to how or why Jason Castro made it this far. AI gets worse with each year. The top 12 should be judged by the judges alone. Its too much of a popularity contest.
Here we go again. SYEISHA the brillo headed DIDA really needs to go and it is sooo long overdue. I really hate phonies. Kim Locke reincarnated. Can”t stand her either..She already had HER 15 minutes of fame.Leave Castro alone. At least he is GENUINE.
I think Jason should’ve been voted out before Carly, the guys just doesn’t sing… he is charming but doesn’t sing at all. His attitude is so lame lacks of personality…. Sorry, i never like the guy.
IMO Syeisha and the Davids are top 3. My vote is David C for the finale and I don’t care which of the other 2 are with him since Michael isn’t there.
My top 3 is definitely David Cook, Syesha Mercado and David Archuleta. But i’m getting bored of the Chuleta….I would love to see a man/woman finale….Cook and Mercado xD
Alberto – I have to agree with you. I’m a little bored with David A. Not that he is not a great vocalist, I think he is great but to me he is more Disney-ish and I can’t sit through HSM so…I just would really like to see David C and Syesha in the final…but on the other hand, I would like David A. to win just so that David C and Syesha are not stuck under the AI umbrella…they are much better than that whereas I feel David A would do very well with the AI guidance. Either way ALL three will be very successful in one way or another. Jason Castro….not sure but he may do well on an island singing koom-by-ya!
“hate to say it?” castro barely can put 2 sentences together, not to mention sing… poor guy, he’s like the male version of a dumb blond, just more like a dumb rasta, or whatever he has growing on his head. he needs to go badly. i think david cook will take the whole thing- he and brillo are the only two with real voices.

Akyra Brillo as in Brillo head. Aren”t you paying attention. That would be Syesha DUH.She looks so much better when she wears a wig. She should stick to the wigs if she can”t do anything with the Brillo hair
I am paying attention but I just wanted to make sure you or Ed (whoever) were speaking about Syesha before I tell you what a racist comment that is. And if YOU were paying attention you would see that it is not a wig she is wearing but extensions/weave…whatever you want to call fake hair these days but its not a wig.
I can see giving your opinion on a matter but when you slide in racist remarks it makes you a biggot and is no longer an opinion but just a crass individual who is still living in the past and is bitter that the “minority” is now the “majority”. Please keep your racist comments to yourself.

Anyway, getting back to the topic at hand, Castro goofed big time from what I heard (didnt get to see) so I think my prediction will come true.
It has everything to do with racism. The majority of racist people refer to black women as brillo heads from way back in the 50’s and 60’s so yes when someone says it, it is considered a racist comment. When someone calls someone a pimple face that does not mean it’s a white person at all. All races get pimples so you can’t even use that as an example. It has nothing to do with me personally so I really have nothing to “get over” darling but you do have some issues that you should probably get over and I live in Miami honey, the white population is damn there extinct. I’m not sure where you live but if the majority is white, it is one of the few states/cities. You obviously are the one that needs to “pay attention” and maybe do a little reading because it’s a fact.
So jump down off your high white horse and smell the roses baby….in the end we are all just flesh and blood and breath the same air and if you don’t like it…too bad, there is nothing you can do to stop it
Sucks huh….maybe that’s why it’s so vibrant down here, all the colors are beautiful and we don’t have too many ignorant racist folks as other states/cities.
