Woohoo! The first photos of Brad Pitt on the red carpet in Venice for Burn After Reading are starting to trickle out. I don’t have many yet, but please check back often – I won’t start a new post for each new batch, I’ll add them to this one, so come back and refresh the page to see if there are updates. I’ll stay on top of things as much as I possibly can.

Unfortunately, there is no sign of Angelina Jolie on the red carpet so I guess it was just too soon for her to attend such a public event. Of course the tabloids will have a darn field day, what with last week’s fake headline about how she kicked Brad out of the chateau, so they’ll be gloating about her not being in Venice. However, those of us who are sane and fans know that in truth she’s just being a mother, at home with Knox and Vivienne not to mention Zahara and Shiloh.
(Besides, you know that she can’t win with the naysayers anyway. If she stays home they’ll say there are problems, but if she had shown up those same people would say she should be a good mother and stay home with her children. And we don’t care, do we?)
There’s always the Toronto Film Festival for possible Brad and Angelina red carpet magic!

Toronto film festivals organizers announced that Angie won’t go Toronto. Also, today Deavulle organizers announced that John Malkovich will go Deavulle not Angie. You can read that articles at JJB. I hope people give her some time.
Personally, I love seeing these two together. They have a special bond. After the press conference’s odd questions, George showed he really has Brad’s back and protected him. I think we should give Angelina time to be a mommy for awhile. When she re-emerges is up to her. I somehow doubt (though I could be wrong) that she would come to Toronto, if she did not make it to Venice, which is alot closer, but who knows. Maybe Deauville, which is a short drive.
An observation though is that, to me, Brad seems a bit sad (not as many smiles) when she is not around, if you compare when she is with him and when she is not, but he has a job to do and he is a professional. I just enjoy him so much, I will take what I can get.
