Today is a busy, busy day for Angelina Jolie. First of all, Changeling is being released on DVD today, so if you’ve been waiting, you can go buy your copy now! I’ve got mine, I absolutely loved that movie. Also, if you’re short on funds, there’s a giveaway of one copy of the DVD over here if you’d like to enter to win!
Meanwhile, Angelina was spotted in New York City today, allegedly looking for an apartment for the family during some of the filming of Salt which will be starting up soon. I’m sure it’s a fairly whirlwind real estate search because she’ll be eager to get back to the West coast to see the family.
Update: More news is rolling in. It was assumed that she was looking for a family home but now word is that they’re actually looking for an apartment for Salt. This means that there’s still a good chance that they’re leasing a home in upstate New York.
Being back in New York brings some challenges because I remember how frequently they were swarmed by paparazzi the last time they were there. On the one hand, it was nice for us as fans to see so many photos of Brad, Angelina, and the kids, but on the other hand, it sure cuts down on their privacy.
And of course, we’re only days away from the Academy Awards so we have a lot to look forward to as well!

4 days to go!!!!!! love the oscars, I hope something funny happens this year. Last year was a little off not very exciting.

Okay Pittwatchers that know the workings of the film industry, why does a star of a movie go to scout filming locations? I always thought that was done by people that are involved in the production of a movie. I find this very interesting that the star of a movie would help make this type of decision.

Mary Ann – I’m just guess here, but maybe they wanted to have her walk around and deliver a couple of lines to see how it all looked together. It might help them picture how it will look when it’s set up for the film. If an apartment is nice but doesn’t fit with the character, they might not be as happy.
I have no idea for sure though, of course!

More photos of Angelina with Zahara and Shiloh in NY. Shiloh looks so incredibly like Brad. Very sweet. She also looks quite relaxed and not stressed out about the photographers, luckily. I´ve never seen Shiloh look so “grown up”. Zahara is so tall, and remember the times when people wondered whether her legs were straight? Well, whatever it is that she had/or did not have, her legs are wonderfully straight and long now!

Sal – thanks for the link to jj adn popsugar! Those photos are so beautiful. Shiloh and Zahara both look so big already. Shi looks exactly like her dad with mum´s mouth. And what a little ctie pies they both are. Shi has her trademark pink silky and Zee has this white blanket she always carries. The girls sure had a great time with mum Angie. It´s a shame that Viv is too young to join them. But next year all four Jolie-Pitt girls will be having this kind of girls-day-out things more and more. By then Viv is 17 months old and can sure already walk. But it´s wiser that her mum carries her. God bless this beutiful family!

Sherry, Shi looks like more of her dad, I look at Shi & I see Brad’s face. She is more relax & just mind her own business while Z, you can still see the tense on her face. Both girls has grown a lot & so cute with matching leggings.They are both beautiful girls.
I was also wondering why Angie will be checking an apt. for the movie, they hire people to do that & scouts the place way back before the movie start shooting, isn’t it? Maybe, Angie is there for a follow up on her UNHCR mission in Thailand. Who knows? There’s also a video of Angie & the girls going & coming out from the Art store in NY.
I will get my Changeling dvd on Friday. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

Here in Singapore, Changeling opening was in January and now the cinema is showing CCBB. Unable to watch Changeling so I’m hoping to buy the DVD.
Watch CCBB yesterday. My hubby & me love the movie. Don’t understand why Cate not nominated for Oscar as she’s really a talented actress.
