Mitch MacDonald sang “In My Life” and I thought the arrangement beautiful (was better than his singing was). I just find Mitch’s voice really annoying and whiny sometimes. That was toned down a lot in this song but I felt that, at the same time, he struggled a bit with being inkey. I did love how vulnerable he allowed himself to be, though.
Zack thanked him for a good performance and said he was adorable (lol). Jake said that tonight’s show is one of his favorites and that it was a fantastic performance. Sass thought that was his best vocal performance so far. Farley said that he handled the “nakedness” of the song really well.
I’m just not into Mitch at all. He’s a very good singer but it’s just not my style so I can’t get overly excited by his performances.
Mitch, for God sake, I know the east coast will love you no matter what, and I love you too. But doesn’t anyone else see that you sound exactly like Hedley?? Sing Hedley!! Sing Old School, let the rest of the world love you too. Before it’s tool late.
