The Canadian Idol auditions are over and the judges have chosen 198 lucky contestants to go to Toronto .

Finding videos for Canadian Idol is a betch so I am doing my very best to get some from my PVR. I thought that six videos from last night were worth uploading (keep an eye out – I’ll be uploading soon!):

Best Male – Sam Romijn, 16, Goderich, ON (fan-bloody-tastic!)

Best Female – Jessica Sheppard, 21, Bomanville, ON (maybe the best audition ever)

Worst Audition – Sharon McCracken, 18, Scarborough, ON

Two Best Reasons Why Instruments Should Be Allowed -

Carly Rae Jepsen, 21, Mission, B.C. (so fresh and original – awesome)

Greg Neufeld, 23, Abbottsford, B.C. (great!)

Hello!
thanks for updating all of us with the latest Canadian Idol news. One of the contestants featured on the June 5th episode actually sang one of my songs, “Soljah”. I don’t know her name, I know she didn’t make it through. It made me very proud though to know that a stranger chose one of my songs to audition with and was wondering if you had any footage of her?
