Brian Melo picked “Karma Police” by Radiohead and not only was Kelly Clarkson thrilled by his song choice but I was blown away by his performance tonight. I never loved him before but tonight changed that for me. I had tears in my eyes because I loved this performance so much. Here it is:

Tears….chillls and thrills
one of my favorite songs by radiohead… was it one of the best performances ever on CI… i dont think so .. not to take anything away from Brian because he did do a good job.. but personally i found it boring up until the end of the song.
He did do extremely well last night. He put the others to shame.
I’ve always loved the tone of Brian’s voice, but I think he’s really growing as a performer. This was an awesome performance. He seems to be the only one really stepping it up and showing that he wants to win this thing. But, like ozzy, I’m not getting my hopes up with the way the voting has been going this season.
Awww, the videos aren’t working for me any more. :( It must be something with my computer because other people seem to be able to watch them. Maybe it’s a sign for me to get back to my homework! Hehe.
At least I got to watch Brian and Carly Rae before they stopped working. I liked them both, but I can actually picture myself listing to Brian on a regular basis. I just hope that whoever wins this thing isn’t struck with the “idol curse” of putting out a crappy album. :/
Oh and I still think there’s room for some sort of growth at the back of his head, lol. The “kenny afro” that Jeanne mentioned in the other post had me DYING from trying not to laugh in the library. :D I have a funny feeling I’m going to miss the elimination tonight so I’m glad I have you guys to keep me updated! Anyone here who knows a lot about Barnett Newman want to help a girl out? ;)
