I remember that episode! I was ticked off Jessica lost out to her also.I remember her mom was so upset she was running away saying “i’m gonna be sick”………It looked like her mom did throw up.

I remember her name now,it was Jessica Sheppard who I was rooting for. I was so angry she lost out to Christine.The judges probably just took pity on Christine because she was on crutches. I think Jessica should still be in the competition.I hope she tries again next year.She can sing well and is very attractive! She has killer green eyes!

I agree with Patricia that it should be about talent but there are times when I think this show is fake!
I think they already know who will win and the votes that are phoned in mean nothing.I mean last year’s was a good example.Craig should have won and not been the runner up.

I think Jaydee will win! I think Matt will be the next one to be sent home.The one I really thought had potential was one of the girls in the top 20.I can’t remember her name but she was the one who lost her voice many weeks back and still competed.It was the show where it was between her and Christine(the girl on the crutches) who somehow beat her and I have no idea why.I wish I could remember her name.She should still be in the top 5

I have to disagree with you, Richard. Matt Rapley has a lot of potential, he just needs to up the performance factor and find some consistency. But that sure doesn’t mean that he can’t sing. When he hits his groove he’s a powerhouse.

What boggles my mind, however, is that Jaydee is still there.

I was also surprised Greg was axed.But what surprises me the most is that the heavy set black guy(can’t remember his name) is still in the top 5.He is a terrible singer! He can’t sing worth sh*t!!!
He should have been sent home a long time ago!

My opinion is this. If the Canadian public will not vote fairly (one vote per person), and vote for talent, than Idol is fake. I will not watch it if the judges, who are all musical professionals and know the music business inside and out, are not given more input on who goes home. Everyone has their favorite, but to eliminate a talent like Greg Neufeld this early in the game shows what a farce Canadian Idol is becoming. I will buy his CD. I hope Jake Gold and the others help him get a recording contract. Now, to the other people commenting I say this. We are all entitled to out opinions. Being rude does not compliment anyone.

Wierrdgirrl, Jake Gold – I can’t even type his name correctly, this guy will ruin the show if he doesn’t go. He did say that Martha’s performance was disgusting and he used another word (I am not gonna say). He is a total disgrace, no class, I watched the live show and he didn’t even bother to walk over to Martha to wish her well, why, he was on the radio that morning bashing and mocking the poor girl to the point of cruelty and you don’t believe it, you don’t have to. By the way, does anyone know the vote count this week, just curious…. maybe it is extremely high or embarrasing low… could it be the holiday, but Brian is still with the show… heck, I’m done with Canadian Idol, after Ben’s outburst, Zack’s hugging and Greg’s elimination like it was the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ, who want’s to watch, what a turn off.
They could have avoided this whole fiasco if they had just given him the crown and they can call it “The Greg Neufeld Show”, if would have been easier for every Gregganians out there.

Howard, first of all, if you’re going to bash a judge, at least get his name right: it’s Jake Gold, not Gould. Secondly, if you want to post a transcript of that interview, I would certainly be curious as to what Jake actually said, because I don’t believe for a minute that he called Martha Joy “disgusting.” People knew for weeks that Martha would be leaving because she hasn’t evolved enough as a performer to communicate her emotions to the audience, at least not yet… it had nothing to do with Jake. And I’m not even going to touch your race comment. If you’re so pissed off at the show, stop watching it.

Jeanne, I take it we’re on the same page about this voting travesty? Or should I say… the same diary page.
