So, for the “My Own Idol” theme week, here are the songs the Canadian Idol Top 5 contestants have chosen to sing. Can you guess which song each of them will sing (I’ve put my predictions next to them)?

Only one performance each? That would suck!
I think your predictions are right. I can’t see it going any other way, unless Dwight sings the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ version of “Higher Ground”, but then I don’t know who would sing “Bed of Roses” (I think Dwight will do a good job of it but he should have picked another one of their songs (like “Livin’ on a Prayer” or something).
I can’t wait to hear Brian (hopefully) sing Radiohead.
Kimmy – I was torn there too. Dwight could do a really good job at “Higher Ground!” I loved the Chili Peppers’ version but then again, at that time, RHCP could do no wrong in my books!
I think Radiohead would be as obvious a good choice for Brian as Elvis would be fore Jaydee.
Elvis – Does anyone know for sure – are they only singing one song each.
Jeanne – should be two songs. Not sure CI page doesn’t say
Maybe they’re singing two each, and they only released the first five songs as a teaser? I hope so.
Jeanne: I used to love RHCP too! I’m hoping that one of them sings that version, but I doubt it.
By the way, has anyone seen the results of the poll in the sidebar? Jaydee is winning so far. :/
