Candie Payne

Candie Payne is a songwriter from Liverpool, England. I first heard her on a podcast last year and thought for sure that the song was from the sixties. That song was I Wish I Could Have Loved You More, her beautiful and haunting singing flows perfectly over music that’s clearly a throwback to early psychedelic pop. What surprised me was, she was born in 1983 and this was the single to her debut album from 2007 . I haven’t hear much of her lately, but I’m eagerly awaiting her next project.
