Comedians Caroline Rhea and Costaki Economopoulos have no problems pleasing their eight-month-old daughter Ava.
“She’s bound to laugh at everything we say,” Caroline told OK!. “She’s an excellent audience.”
But the couple know it’s not their skills that leave their daughter laughing. She’s happy to smile at anyone and everyone!
“I feel so bad because people go, ‘Oh my God, she smiled at me.’ I go, ‘She smiles at everybody,’” said Costaki.
At 45, Caroline came to motherhood later than many, but she couldn’t be happier that she finally took the plunge.
“I love it,” she said of being a mother. “It’s my favorite thing I’ve ever done. I guess I feel like somebody flipped a switch and the whole world is in Technicolor now,” she said. “I’m very sappy about it, but I adore her. I’m so into momminess.”
She also loves watching the bond develop between her partner and their daughter, although she sometimes feel a little left out!
“I have the tiniest bit of resentment,” she explained. “His material is doing better with her than mine is. He goes for the laugh and then he repeats it over and over again.”
Meanwhile Caroline has her own tactic.
“I can’t stop squeezing her thighs. I can’t.”
