Can you believe this? OK! Magazine is reporting that American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, has some strong opinions about Jessica Simpson who is currently romantically linked to Carrie’s ex Tony Romo. This comes after Jessica declared him “the love of her life” and claimed that she checks Tony’s phone logs and doesn’t believe Carrie and him still talk (as Carried has said in the past). She also is allegedly unconcerned about having to compete with Jessica on the country music charts. Here’s what “a friend” is reported to have said to OK!:
“She finds Jessica’s love of putting her life on display pretty desperate. She laughed at the People cover, because it’s the same one Jess did about John Mayer — same smile, same look, except she’s a little fatter….
Carrie doesn’t think fans will spend money to watch Jess warble through a few badly written songs.”
Well, what do you think? Did she say that?
Carrie is absolutely right about Jessica being desperate!! And she has nothing to worry about on the country OR pop charts, for that matter. Carrie is fabulous.

One thing we know for sure about a lot of these so called entertainment magazines and TV “entertainment news” shows is that most of what they report is made up to sell copies. I bet Carrie could care less about Jessica and whoever her latest boyfriend is or what album she has released.
I don’t believe Carrie said that but if she did, I agree with her opinion that Jessica’s love of putting her life on display is pretty desperate. However she needs to get her eyes check if she thinks Jessica is fat.
I don’t believe that Carrie said that. I think a lot of these magazines just want to make money at the expense of others. If Carrie did say these things she’s right. Carrie is way more talented. Besides why would Carrie care about Tony Romo she’s got a new boyfriend who is way better looking. She deserves someone better than Tony.

Carrie would not call anyone fat. She isn’t the type. I mean I don’t know her but I think she has a little more to worry and think about. All the girl wants to do is sing and enjoy her career. This feud is completely media made. I think Jessica made it more personal than it was because she’s insecure with Tony. She needs to grow up. She’s always has been a little juvenile. Carrie is a nice and decent person from a small town and even though that’s rare in the celebrity world, it’s true. People just want to find dirt on Carrie so she can be known as a bad girl. Leave her alone!!!

Anyone who doesn’t think Jessica has packed on a few pounds should go to WKIS.com. She appeared at the Chilli cookoff last weekend and was….well let’s say it wasn’t pretty, visually or vocally to say the least.
She was never “pretty” vocally! Any time I have heard her sing I wanted to shoot myself while running my nails down a blackboard!
But she has definitely gained weight, which is no crime, she does not look terrible. However, looking and sounding as she does she should not sing or attempt those kind of dance moves. It really looked and sounded horrible!
I remember when Carrie Underwood had some weight on her!!! She had to loose some pounds as well. So if she did say that then F her. Jessica doesn’t sing all that well but ya know what she did that all on her own. Not on a show. I say piss on both of them.

It’s not, “Carrie and him…” it is, “He and Carrie.”
This grammar error is everywhere! I have heard it used over the radio, television shows, even over news coverages– keep in mind that all of the above media examples include professionally written scripts. Although this particular error is common and popular, it is not certainly not alone. There are several other grammatical glitches, each one equally as insulting as the next, that have become accepted and normal.
Have Americans really come to this low point of empty-headed-ignorance where we consider hick-talk as proper diction?

Regardless, even the most well-spoken, articulate and grammatically-sound people make mistakes. Surely, you are not immune to this.
For example, you wrote “it is not certainly not alone.” What is that? It looks like a grammatical error. I point this out, not to humiliate you as you have attempted to do to me, but merely to demostrate the imperfection of us all.
While it is important to be concerned about grammar, it is EQUALLY important to have good manners. Perhaps, you could brush up on yours.
