Carrie Underwood on Elle’s Best Dressed List!

There’s no denying it – Carrie Underwood has gone through a major transformation since her time on American Idol.  She’s right – she’s not in Checotah, OK anymore and she is dressing to prove it!

Elle magazine has listed their picks for 2007′s Top 25 Best Dressed women and Carrie has been included.  Here’s what they wrote about her on their site (accompanying this picture of her in Naeem Khan on the red carpet at Movies Rock):

"At just five feet three inches, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has managed to pack a lot of style into a very small frame. She successfully made the transition from just another teen star to a sophisticated woman."

I have to agree.  Her style has transformed from the country girl-next-door (not that there’s anything wrong with that – she was always adorable) to a sleek, stylish vixen. 

I wonder what 2008 will bring for Carrie!
