Great American Country is reporting that American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, has set a sales record with her album “Some Hearts.“ With shipments equaling 7 million Recording Industry Association of America-certified copies, the album has become the best-selling solo female debut in country music history!
Guess what else? It’s the best-selling album to ever be released by a former American Idol contestant! Way to go, Carrie!
Congratulations to Carrie. It was about time the debut album of an idol was actually crafted, I guess it is because she was the ahnds down winner early on in the show and they took time to select her music.
