American Idol super champ, Carrie Underwood, sings Skid Row’s popular ballad “I Remember You.” I had no idea she liked this kind of music. It makes me like her even more! The band is a little too loud, though. I don’t want her straining those gorgeous vocal chords.
Skid Row frontman, Sebastian Bach, had kind things to say about Carrie’s cover:
“Carrie Underwood, if you ever read this, ROCK ON and congrats on all your well-deserved success! You are very talented and I am 100% honored that you are singing this song!! Sounds incredible and I wish you all the best!!”

Ummm….I think Carrie should stick to country music. This doesn’t sound good.
Does nobody remember Carrie’s version of Heart’s Alone on American Idol? For me, it was her best performance on the show (and she should’ve sung it at the finale, though it didn’t matter did it?
). Carrie can ROCK if she wants to.
I agree Itain…..i loved that performance and wish I could get a copy of it. She certainly can rock!!!

Not the best quality, but
But no one can sing it better than Sebastian himself. I was in 5th grade when Skid Row came out with I Remember You and I was in love with Sebastian. My heart still melts when it comes on the radio. Carrie did okay but she will never beat the original version.
