I know I’m a little late on this one but Carrie Underwood took home the prize for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 18, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m sure Carrie has gotten really comfortable with accepting awards since this girl is on fire! Watch her performance of “Last Name” – she was great!
