Casting on Lauren Graham’s “The Bridget Show”

Lauren Graham is developing a new comedy series for ABC called The Bridget Show, (previously Let it Go.) Lauren, who will serve as executive producer and star, plays a self-help guru (Bridget) who is unable to let go of her ex once he dumps her. The ‘deeply flawed’ character is one that makes Lauren laugh just reading about her. It’s now revealed that Bridget quit her successful show for this man and that 10 years later, now dumped, she’s regretting it.

News from Hollywood Rerporter indicates that Lucy Davis has joined the pilot for Lauren’s show. She has been cast as Bridget’s book-smart assistant. Lucy Davis is well known her work on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and in a few episodes of Reaper.

So glad that Lauren will be back on TV. I do wish that the Gilmore Girls would return. My family just loved that show.

    Looking forward to it.
Wouldnt it be great if she could get some of the other GG cast involved in it. though may seem weird seeing them together but in different roles.

I think Scott patterson is very fancyable as luke but have seen him in aliens in america and he just didnt have the same charm – another hats off the writting of GG I guess.

It is really great to keep hearing new things about the show. It shows that it is getting closer to really happening. I am anxious to see who the guys will be in the show(her love interestest especially) I just hope that she will be able to do the pilot while doing Guys and Dolls so that the show can be on the line up to air in January of 2010 at the latest.

Aw not a big fan of the change in title. It’s good to see some more info on the show, hope even more information comes out soon. I’d like to see who else will be on Lauren’s show aswell. It’d be great to see some GG alumni.
