Rumors are wagging again. It’s contract negotiation time between ABC and Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart, All My Children). Right now it all depends on the money issue. Soaps have been doing cut backs lately and unfortunately, the actors get the brunt of it. Even big stars with big storylines. They better not screw Alicia Minshew over. Kendall Hart may not be my favorite character from Pine Valley but I do like her. In a way..LOL. I like Alicia Minshew more 
. She’s a great actress. Emmy’s keep ignoring her though which drives me and most soaps fans crazy.
Can you really see a Kendall Hart recast? They better not even think about killing her either coz that would be really it for me. I don’t even wanna think about it. Cross everything that you could cross people. Let’s hope ABC doesn’t do anything stupid (again) and give Alicia Minshew everything she deserves to convince her to stay in Pine Valley.

My favorite character ever was Hayley, but Kendall was a close second, and she is my favorite one of the current characters. I would be really angry if they got rid of Kendall.
As for Alicia, I was slow to warm to her because I was watching back when Sarah Michelle Gellar played her and I *loved* her in the role. After about a year, I really started to warm up to her and now I can’t imagine anyone else playing Kendall (except maybe SMG again but I can’t see her ever going back to soaps).

If Alicia departs, which I hope doesn’t happen, they probably could get SMG back as Kendall. Neither she nor her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. seem to be getting anywhere in their movie careers lately.
Susan Lucci recently took a paycut, so Alicia should just bite the bullet and pop out of her coma happy she still has a job (unlike myself).
I really don’t care if whiney, fussy, hateful, self-centered, Kendall leaves. I just hope they bring in someone deserving of Zach.
