CBS is reporting that the rumors about Nicole Richie being pregnant and engaged are NOT true.
CBS writes:
After a long chat with a close Nicole Richie source Tuesday, I’m confident that Paris Hilton’s TV reality co-star is not pregnant — nor is she engaged to Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, despite being seen sporting a big sparkler. Turns out that huge diamond was a loaner from a top Hollywood jeweler — worn by Richie to a Tinseltown charity fete.
So, she explained the ring. She didn’t explain the bump. I’m still skeptical…..
What do you guys think about CBS’s claim?
i think that it was obviously malnournishment because of her prior drug and alkie abuse, along with the eating disorders. obviously.

I see it this way. if she says she isn’t pregnant people will wonder why she has the bump. then she’ll have to say it was from malnourishment, if that’s what its from. but she’s denied having an eating disorder. so if she says oh I’m not pregnant its malnourishment she has to go back on her word and she would have to admit she lied about having an eating disorder. so in a way she’s very smart about not saying anything and letting it pass over.
but what do I know.

Nah, I don’t think she’s pregnant. Sometimes really skinny people get a poochy tummy if they gain a bit of weight. If she was pregnant, the bump may be a bit rounder. And if they were going to get engaged, I think there would be more coverage about it.
I hope that she isn’t, another poor child, another crazy mother, enough they have with britney spears…
I just feel sorry for the girl. I don’t know much about her, but they have been showing the simple life, interns as a summer holidays programme over here in the UK and the episode i watched today she looked happy and healthy with her ex boyfriend Luke?
