On Monday, CBS announced that Three Rivers, the drama about a transplant team starring Alex O’Loughlin as the head surgeon, has been pulled from the schedule indefinitely and that reruns of NCIS: Los Angeles will take its place on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT beginning Dec. 6, according to Entertainment Weekly.
A CBS spokesman said the freshman drama will remain in production – the network ordered 13 episodes – but that no decision has been made about its future. So far eight episodes have aired.
The show wasn’t doing that bad in ratings in my opinion – it averaged 8.4 million viewers. Three Rivers was ranked No. 45 among all primetime shows.
What do you think? Why did CBS take the show off its schedule for now?
