Celebrity Apprentice kicked off its season this week and Trump wasted no time sending the celebrities out to the streets of New York to sell hot dogs. Stephen Baldwin & Omarosa stepped up to be the first team leaders.
The guys had the business expertise of Gene Simmons who proceeded to call some of his high-roller contacts and asked them to come buy hot dogs for $5000 or more. The men ended up with over $50,000 in sales.
Omarosa directed the women’s team to focus on business techniques and not rely on their celebrity. They sold about a third as much as the men, and I’m surprised that Omarosa wasn’t fired as a result. Instead, Tiffany Fallon was fired because she didn’t call Hugh Hefner and ask for a giant donation.
There’s a ton of animosity between the strong personalities this season and I’m sure we’ll see more than a few arguments and moments of drama. Thank goodness, Trump realized that the tent fiasco of last season was a big mistake. This is more like the original Apprentice, with the twist being the celebrities involved. I may like the show again, but am reserving judgment for another episode or so.

It was an interesting boardroom. Although I thought Omarosa was definitely the weakest link (hello? It’s *celebrity* apprentice!), Trump couldn’t fire her. Many people turned into the show precisely because of her – as I did.
I can’t stand her, but it’s like watching a train wreck. It will be fun to watch how the others handle her. That’s the only thing that is making me come back next week.
Hey Lynn, thanks for the link back to Interview Chatter. I wanted to get the conversation rolling and answer your questions.
I have enjoyed The Apprentice series for the most part. I was somewhat disappointed last season, but because of the challenge of the tents vs. the mansion. I enjoyed that twist believe it or not. I was more frustrated with the behavior of the candidates. The romance that sparked, the way some of the candidates were treated, etc. I will follow this show as long as they produce it. I do believe there are invalauble lessons to be learned for job seekers seeking to be hired.
That’s it for now! I shall return.

I’m not watching this show this year or ever again. Me and the Donald are over. Kaput. From what I’ve been reading, he’s back to his old ratings tricks – Omarosa shouldn’t even be on there!!!
I’ll just rely on your entertaining recaps and the comments
