The eight new fit club members showed up to a gym and looked immediately intimidated. Cledus said that the gym “smells like home.” LOL!

Has anybody noticed that this season’s fit clubbers are a lot thinner than the ones in other seasons? Just a thought…
There was a poster of Harvey on the wall and Maureen said she was scared of Harvey. They all started drawing on his poster. (I’ll bet this won’t go over well with him…)

Harvey & Da Brat got into a big shouting match and it got ugly. Da Brat is definitely showing what she’s made of and acting like her name. I think I saw the corners of Harvey’s mouth turn into an almost smile just for a second….

The others were trying to get Da Brat and Harvey to settle down. Maureen told him “I swear that I want to be here.”
Ross told him, “I won’t ever talk to you like that; I don’t even know what most of the words mean.” (I love him!)
After they got to the field, they had to run a tough obstacle course. Da Brat smoked it, while Cledus & Tiffany fell a lot during the course.

In the long jump, Dustin took an early lead. But then Warren G set a Fit Club record winning the event.

Warren G led the pack in the quarter mile run, while Da Brat fell behind and gave more attitude to Harvey. But then, she pushed herself to finish second before Dustin. But it didn’t come without a price. She ended up throwing up on the track.

Ant calmly noted that “No one has ever puked on Fit Club before.”
Then came the killer event: the stair endurance run. (My legs hurt, just thinking about it…)

Maureen and Kimberley encouraged each other through the challenge. The rest struggled to do it. Then when Ross was having some real problems keeping with it, the whole group did it with him to encourage him. Harvey said, “This is what makes my job gratifying, right here.”
They all cheered when they got to the top. They were already bonding. Here were the time results:
The next day, the teams came together to weigh in and talk about their weight problems for the first time.
First, Ant (the Host)

introduced them to the experts Dr Ian Smith,

Stacy Kaiser and

Harvey Walden, IV.

Tiffany was the first to step on the scale. Her weight was 152 lbs. Her target weight loss before the next weigh in was 4 lbs. Harvey told her that the goal at the end would be to have lost 25 lbs.

Next up was Ross. His starting weight was 214 lbs. He told them that when he weighed 230 lbs. it hurt to even reach for the food. ROFLOL!
Harvey asked him what his exercise habits were and he replied, “Checking the mail…?”
His target weight loss is 4 lbs. before the next weigh in. His overall goal is to lose 30 lbs.

(I have to admit it right here, he’s my favorite going in. I loved him on the Tonight Show and even follow his personal blog. He always makes me laugh. He just seems like such a nice guy. – GO, ROSS!)
Kimberley Locke was the next on the scales. Her beginning weight was 176 lbs. She admitted that she was addicted to pizza. Dustin started heckling her to keep eating the pizza saying, “Trust the Dust.” (How childish…)
She was told to lose 5 lbs. and to lose a total of 28 lbs over the course of the show.

Ant asked Dustin why he was being so obnoxious about the pizza addiction and he said some kind of nonsense about only trusting truth and logic…blah, blah, blah… He’s gong to be the real pill to swallow this season…
He said that he wanted to lose weight without dieting, using only exercise. He said he wanted to figure out how to “eat crap and be healthy.” Yeah, good luck with that.
His weight was 217 lbs. He started talking bad about the other team and saying more obnoxious stuff and everyone thought he should just shut up. Finally Stacy pretty much told him to shut it. (Finally!) Harvey told him to lose 5 lbs before the next weigh in and 33 lbs. overall. (His team will need some luck…)

Maureen went next and weighed in at 150 lbs. She was told to lose 4 lbs. before the next weigh in and 25 lbs. overall.

Warren G stepped up and weighed 221 lbs. They told him to lose 5 lbs before the weigh in and 33 lbs. over the course of the show.

Cledus was up next. He weighed in at 214 lbs. By the next weigh in, he is supposed to lose 4 lbs. and 30 lbs. over the course of the show.

Last and certainly not the least was Da Brat. Her starting weight was 172 lbs. She and Harvey had words again. But she did admit that she would do what they told her. And she told him he was cuter in person than on TV. She’ll have to lose 5 lbs. and 27 lbs. before the end of the show.

Finally, the teams headed out to the giant scales. The teams climbed on and the men weigh more at 866 lbs. and the women’s team weighs 650 lbs. Then they calibrated the scales to make it even. The scales will let us know as the season goes along how well the two teams are doing.

So how did you like the first episode of the season? Do you have a favorite Fit Clubber? A least favorite? What are your thoughts about the show so far? Leave a comment to let us know!

I just want to know if Da Brat and Harvey are going to start dating…?
