When I read The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles as a kid, I had no idea that it was written by Mary Poppins. This is mostly because Julie Andrews tends to write under the name Julie Edwards. She's had a long and successful career as a children's novelist, which cements my theory that there is nothing that Julie Andrews can't do.

"Rocky Steady" is the name of a song on the Sting album ...Nothing Like the Sun. It's also the name of a children's book written by Sting about Noah's Ark. I'm not really sure how he got from point A to point B, but maybe some things are better left unanswered.

Okay, so Bob Dylan may not have strictly written this one-- someone took the lyrics to the song of the same name from his 1979 album Slow Train Coming and illustrated them-- but hey, it's a great way to introduce your young'uns to Dylan at an early age.
The Duchess of York may sometimes be a bit of a mess, but she DID author an extremely successful series of children's books about an anthropomorphic helicopter. There's even a TV show. Nice.
