Chad Michael Murray (Tristan Dugray on Gilmore Girls) has been starring in the lead role on One Tree Hill, now in its 6th Season. Rumor has it, though, that he won’t be returning to the series for Season 7.

Rumors indicated that Chad Michael Murray had not renewed his contract with the network, wanting to move on for personal and professional reasons. Now it turns out that the producers have asked him not to come back (to save money)! Chad apparently wants to stay on the series and encourages fans to help let the producers know we still want him on the show!

Paige, he did want out and he wanted more money to stay. They offered him a raise, but it wasn’t enough for him so he left because he wanted to do movies and had wanted out of his contract for a while anyway. This was just him trying to manipulate his fans into complaining so that the CW would give into his salary demands and it didn’t work. He was an ass about the entire thing and Hilarie had to leave, because they didn’t want to break up Lucas and Peyton. She had no choice.
season 7 is goog but something missing in. I thing its the peyton and lucas. at least one episode they sould be in one tree hill
please please and please hope this guys are joking because the show would be bored without chad Micheal Murry (Lucas) and Hilarie Burton(Peyton)!
I think that the show will not be as good with out chad micheal murry (Lucas) and Hilarie Burton(Peyton)! Alot of people love to see what happens to them next. This is so sad! I hope they rethink this and bring them both back!!

Not holding a lot of faith in a report written by someone who doesnt even know what the current season is. Facts would be good before you write anything. OTH is in season 6 and it has been picked up for season 7. the entire core cast had six year contracts.
Wow I thought he wanted out. Seems it’s the other way around. They also decided to push out Peyton (Hilarie Burton) aswell. Thats pretty unfair, these guys are a big part of the show.
whoa whoa whoaaaaaa. i hate to admit that i actually watch this show, haha, but OMG he has to come back!!! are they serious?? ugh. the cw kills me sometimes….
If I may, OTH is in its 6th season and not 7th season. :)
