The show began with Mo’Nique announcing that the girls would be learning about style. She gave them the fourth Commandment: Thou Shalt Work What Thou Art Working With. They were told to dress to impress.

When they came downstairs, the found out that they would be getting a style lesson from Nikki Taylor and Celebrity Stylist Timothy Snell.

Becky was called up first and she explained that she likes to wear bling and that skulls are trendy right now, so that’s what she likes to wear. They told her it was an urban, trendy look and worked for her.

She told the camera that she doesn’t like to dress like a slut; she likes to dress like a slot machine. LOL!

Then they talked about Schatar. They said that she knows what works for her. The other girls were saying that she had one boob up under her neck and one boob near her waist. What’s up with that?

Next was Saaphyri. She said that her style is inspired by brokeness. She doesn’t have a lot of money, but she has a lot of boobs. The stylist told her that sex appeal is not about putting it all right out there. She needs to tone it down.
The stylist said that women should show their back more.
Then Nikki and the stylist starting talking about couture. The girls were intimidated by the idea and weren’t all that happy about the thought of dressing that way.
They were told that their test would be a fashion show in the house the next day. They would compete in two teams of five girls. Two team members would design and make the dress. One would be responsible for the makeup. One would have to do the hair and one would be the model.
One person was left over and would serve as the honorary judge at the show. She would also be safe from elimination.

The girls had to decide the teams and the judge. That was tough. They all wanted to be the judge, of course!
It came down to Saaphyri picking the girls that were the most competitive for her team because she wanted to win. Then, the general thought was for Courtney to be the judge. But then the teams were worried because Courtney and Brooke are close and they thought it would be fair to the team Brooke wasn’t on. (What a mess!)

Cristal didn’t want to be the model because she thought that the judges would be harder on her because she’s a real model. Her team decided to make Darra the model instead. The rest of the team members were Jennifer, Brooke and Becky.
The other team had Schatar and Shay as the designers and Saaphyri doing makeup, Larissa doing the hair and Leilene was their model.
Leilene came out in a dress that she called “subtle sexy” everyone just about fell out of their chairs. There was nothing subtle about it. She said that she didn’t want to look like a stripper any more, but I don’t know…

The girls starting cutting things up and taking down curtains to make the dresses. Becky admitted that she likes to break things and steal things. (On national TV, girl? What are you thinking?)

While the team was trying to figure out the dress, Jennifer was just sitting by and watching. She didn’t offer and input at all.
The other team had fabric that looked like an orange giraffe.
As we would have expected, Schatar was spying on the other team from outside their room. She was standing outside, peeking in the windows at them. (What a creep!)
She reported back to her team that Darra’s dress looked like bathroom tissue. So then, Cristal and Saaphyri went to spy too. They agreed with Schatar that Darra looked horrible.

Becky said that Jennifer had contributed to the dress by going outside and smoking. She was actually happy about it because she said that Jennifer dresses horribly.
Becky and Jennifer were thinking that their team had an advantage because Courtney was the judge and Brooke was on their team. I guess that’s why Jennifer didn’t try to do anything to help the team.
The next morning, all the girls got up and started working, but Jennifer just stayed in bed and slept.
Keith Lewis came in to see the progress of Leilene’s team and thought they were making her look like a corpse and that her dress looked like an African safari, not the Japanese garden theme they were going for.
When Keith came in to talk to Darra’s team he asked if everyone was helping in their chosen capacity. They didn’t show whether the girls told him about Jennifer or not.
Then, the funny stuff started. They took Darra into a room and started to tape everything up, since she wouldn’t be able to wear a girdle or bra with the dress. Can you believe this?

And then it was show time. When Leilene came out first, she was beautiful. I have to hand it to them, she was really amazing.

Darra’s team instantly knew it was lost. Becky introduced her as “Walking on Air.” When Darra came out with feathers on her eyelashes and she blinked, I thought I was going to die laughing.

Mo’Nique had a similar reaction.

Mo’Nique said she wasn’t quite sure what Darra was walking on, but it wasn’t air.
The teams all came out onto the catwalk and the judges asked them questions about the whole process and who did what.
They told Leilene that she was the most graceful and she said it was because she had bee a stripper. (WTF!?)

Darra was asked who designed the dress and she said Becky and Jennifer. When the stylist asked Jennifer a question about designing the dress, and she didn’t even answer the question. Mo’Nique was upset that they had used the curtains.
The judges ripped Darra’s dress design apart and the team felt awful standing up there.
The judges said that the team had chosen Darra as a total manipulation to try to get Mo’Nique to be sympathetic with the look. They were also shocked that Cristal didn’t do it, since she’s really a model.
After they criticized the dresses, they told Darra that she had done a great job and had been very brave to do it.
Then they told Courtney the real shocker. That she wasn’t just a judge, she was THE judge. She had to pick the winner.

It was obvious that she was torn because she wanted to vote for Brooke’s team, but she had to do the right thing and she chose Leilene’s team to win it. That meant that they couldn’t be sent home that night.
Cristal went to talk to Mo’Nique in her office to explain that she wasn’t responsible for the dress. Mo’Nique thought her excuse was a cop out.
Brooke told Jennifer that Cristal had told Mo’Nique it was all on Jennifer and Becky. All the girls thought that Cristal was wrong for going to Mo’Nique.

Then it came time for the elimination in the grand hall. The three called to the carpet were Becky, Jennifer and Cristal. The judges ripped them all for their poor judgment.

They told Cristal that she should have been the model.
Jennifer was told that she didn’t contribute enough to the effort.
Becky was told that she had to be part of the three because she had been a part of the design.
Mo’Nique sent Becky back to the rest of the group. She asked Jennifer about why Cristal should go home and she didn’t answer the question.
Then, she asked Cristal why Jennifer should go home and she told her that Jennifer had not contributed.
Jennifer was expelled. She didn’t even seem to understand why she was sent home. Amazing!

Well, it’s all good, because she has her new career as a porn star and her future as a medical student to look forward to.
What did you think of this week’s show? Do you think the right person as sent home? Who do you think was the best this week? Why do you think that Mo sent Becky back to the group?

“When Darra came out with feathers on her eyelashes and she blinked, I thought I was going to die laughing.”
Same here, that’s exactly how I’ve felt. I was impressed by the other dress, too, by the way.
