Rooney Mara arrived at the Palm Springs Film Festival with cropped black hair, bleached eyebrows and a facial piercing. She was there to support her Social Network castmates, but looked more like her character from the upcoming book-to-movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which is currently filming.
Many critics were initially skeptical of Rooney’s ability to pull of the tough-chick role of Lisbeth Salander, but this photo makes us think she’s inhabiting the character pretty thoroughly. Her whole face seems transformed — from sweet, dimpled college girl to badass hacker. What do you think of Rooney’s Dragon Tat look?
This remake looks like a flop. C’mon. Couldn’t we have gotten someone less “Miss America”? She looks nothing like the original Lisbeth.
She looks liike a totally different person.
